The VOC (volatile organic compound) purification catalyst is prepared by using cordierite honeycomb as a carrier and precious metals and rare earth materials as active components, using a high dispersion and uniform distribution method. It is a new and efficient organic waste gas purification catalyst, especially suitable for the purification of toxic and harmful waste gases containing aromatic hydrocarbons, alkanes, and carbon monoxide emitted from industries such as chemical, food, machinery, instrumentation, household appliances, baking and painting, printing, and color steel manufacturing. The basic principle of purifying waste gases is catalytic combustion, and the heat generated by the precious metal catalyst during the catalytic combustion process can be comprehensively utilized.
